A time add/subtract calculator performs arithmetic operations on time values. Enter a starting time and add or subtract hours, minutes, and seconds to find the resulting time. This is essential for calculating arrival times, medication schedules, cooking timers, flight arrival times across time zones, and shift end times. The calculator automatically handles rollovers past midnight and AM/PM transitions.
The calculator converts the starting time to total seconds from midnight, adds or subtracts the specified duration in seconds, and converts back to hours:minutes:seconds format. If the result exceeds 24 hours, it wraps around (modulo 24) and indicates how many days were crossed. The result shows both the new time and the number of day changes.
Enter the starting time, select add or subtract, then enter hours, minutes, and/or seconds to add or subtract. Click Calculate to see the resulting time. The output shows the new time along with whether it falls on the same day, next day, or previous day.
The time wraps around. Adding 26 hours to 10:00 AM gives 12:00 PM the next day. The calculator shows (+1 day) to indicate the day change.
Yes. Enter values in all three fields (hours, minutes, seconds) and they will all be applied together.
Yes. Adding 5 hours to 10:00 AM correctly gives 3:00 PM. Crossing noon and midnight are handled automatically.
